Built in 1931, Belleville High School closed in 2013 and was purchased by Pioneer Group. The Collegiate Gothic style school has been converted into low income apartments. The former school, now known as Buffalo Apartments is still serving the community by providing much needed housing options to the rural community.
Centropolis on Grand is a luxury apartment building int he River Market. In setting out to design this multi-family project, the client had strong desires that the building be both contextual and complimentary to the surrounding neighborhood while putting forth a clean and updated look. Using a mix of traditional and modern materials, the 56 unit building will have a strong visual appearance to the neighboring City Market as well as be a transition point for the new street car line. These apartments offer all the luxury amenities of new class A apartments including large floor plans with oversized terraces, trimmed interiors with modern kitchens of stained solid wood cabinetry, and granite counter-tops. In addition the building offers covered secure parking, large amounts of separate bicycle storage and a large outdoor common area terrace for grilling, tenant gatherings, amidst large landscaped planters and wood/stone trellis structures. The project team researched various buildings around the site to find a name for the project that would resurrect some of the City Markets grand history. The Centropolis was a turn of the century hotel that hosted presidents as well as other notable guests.
Savannah West Apartments is a $35 million project located at 8900 N. Prospect Ave. in Kansas City, Missouri. The apartment complex will include 209 apartment units in 27 buildings.
Avenue 80 calls for 230 luxury apartments wrapped around three sides of a parking garage with 16,000 square feet of retail and office space fronting on Metcalf Avenue. It will also include a clubhouse with exercise equipment and an enclosed courtyard.

The Echo Ridge Community is a duplex neighborhood developed by the Topeka Housing Authority as a Green Community initiative serving Topeka residents. This project has 34 duplex buildings that share a common groundsource loop that each duplex can draw from to heat and cool the homes. Other energy saving items include LED lighting, Energy Star appliances and fixtures and domestic water pre-heating via the unit heat pump.

LSA is responsible for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, fire sprinkler protection and telecom design.
