The project consists of a new building to house the Wing Commander and his staff as well as security personnel for the Kansas Air National Guard Facility at Forbes Field in Topeka, Kansas. The 36,000 square facility includes office space, a number of conference rooms in various sizes, three training classrooms and a 200 seat auditorium. LSA provided telecommunications, access control and security CCTV design for this project.
The project consists of a new building to house the pilots for the Kansas Air National Guard at Forbes Field in Topeka, Kansas. The 31,250SF building consists of offices, conference rooms and an auditorium. LSA provided design for new geothermal system, energy recovery units were provided, water to water heat pumps were designed for the domestic hot water system. Occupancy sensor and daylight sensors were provided as a part of the design. LSA also provided telecommunications, access control, CCTV design, fire alarm and fire sprinkler design.
This project consists of new maintenance buildings for the Kansas Army National Guard in Wichita, Kansas. The 57,000SF facility includes wash bay, maintenance bays, inspection bays, offices, fitness room and classrooms. LSA provided mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, fire suppression, telecommunications, access control and security CCTV design for this project. This project will be LEED certified.
This multi-phase project at the Battle Command Training Center in Tice Hall involved the replacement of all major heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment within the building as well as an upgrade of the existing automatic temperature control system. Design was completed as to allow continued use of the building by the Kansas Army National Guard during the required construction.
This project included modifications to an existing 25,000 SF warehouse in Fort Riley for the Kansas Army National Guard's Advanced Turbine Engine Army Maintenance (ATEAM) Facility, Building 741A. Modifications included the addition of an air conditioning system and a power service upgrade from 200A 208Y/120V, 3-phase service to a 1200A 480Y/277V, 3-phase service with distribution throughout the building.
LSA was interviewed and selected to design a ground source heat pump for the office space within the 135,000SF Maintenance Shop. Occupancy sensors were used in the office and water to water heat pumps were designed for the existing Domestic Hot Water System.
The Readiness Center is a 125,000SF building located in Wichita, Kansas. This building houses different units for the Kansas Army National Guard. The building consists of small offices, open offices, assembly hall, classrooms, storage and maintenance bay. MEP design includes, ground source heat pump, water to water heat pump for Domestic Hot Water, radiant slab heat, daylight controls. LSA also provided telecommunication, access control and security CCTV design for this project. This building will be LEED certified.
