A nearly 40,000 square foot addition gave the existing high school a new large gymnasium with bleacher seating, locker and shower rooms, a wrestling room, concessions, restroom and storage spaces. An energy recovery unit allowed the air exchange in and out of the facility to have minimal impact on utility costs. Additional surge-protected power receptacles, cable TV and telecommunications outlets were provided throughout the existing classrooms to accommodate technology advances. A new main electrical service replaced aged equipment to allow easier service and renovations in the future.
