USD 345 - Seaman High School Addition & Remodel
This project included the remodel of Seaman High School’s auditorium, addition to the ninth grade classrooms, and the remodel of and an addition to the vocational training center.

The ninth grade classroom addition contains new 92% efficient boilers with individual room control to provide hot water to VAV reheat coils and cabinet unit heaters. Air conditioning of the offices, dining area, commons, and classrooms was achieved by providing six rooftop VAV cooling units. Air is distributed to VAV terminal units, each having a hot water coil. All new controls are integrated with the existing BAS controls. The vocational training shop contains welding exhaust, spray paint exhaust and sawdust collection systems that are staged and interlocked with a gas-fired heated make-up air unit. A new electrical distribution switchgear replaced obsolete undersized electrical services. An emergency generator was installed to provide power to the boilers, circulating pumps, controls, security and fire alarm system, life safety, and food service freezers and refrigerators.
