Youth Development Center – A complete integrated solution for voice, data, video and paging will be implemented in this new facility. The two story, 41,000 square foot building will also include some special observation and sound system devices that are used in the day to day activities of the Youth Development Center. The enlargement and relocation of the regulated telephone demarcation point will be included in the construction of this building. A third building is planned for this site. It required some additional planning to allow integration into the overall network. The outside plant cable between buildings, will include fiber, copper and building entrance protection which is linked directly to the bonding and grounding system that was part of the project. The intra-building cable will be comprised of fiber, copper and coax. This total system solution including a quality paging system will meet the Owners needs for years to come.
