This 37,000 square foot recreation facility on the campus of Topeka’s Washburn University will include a total telecommunications solution including inside plant and outside plant. The main telecommunications room is located on the first level. Horizontal cabling of fiber, copper and coax provide the buildings users with voice, data and video services. Incorporated into this solution is connectivity to the campus backbone where voice, data, video, life safety, and point of sales systems are accessed. A bonding and grounding system was included as part of the design for this building.
