This 20,300 square foot Art Building on the campus of Topeka’s Washburn University will include a total telecommunications solution including inside plant and outside plant. The main telecommunications room is located on the first level and an intermediate closet on the second level. Horizontal cabling of fiber, copper and coax provide the buildings users with voice, data and video services. Incorporated into this solution is connectivity to the campus backbone where voice, data, video, and life safety systems are accessed. A bonding and grounding system was included as part of the design for this building.
