Security Benefit Group - New Corporate Headquarters
The Security Benefit Group headquarters is a 320,000 s.f. corporate office building located on SBG's 50 acre campus and is also home to seven separate satellite buildings. Working directly with the owner, the goal of this project was to provide a customized state-of-the-art facility that would meet the needs of SBG far into the 21st century. Some of the unique MEP features that were implemented to meet these objectives include: 1) Underfloor Supply Air Distribution; 2) Networked Personnel Environment Modules; 3) Computerized lighting control for all building lighting circuits; 4) LEED design of an MEP, HVAC mechanical system; 5) Wireless thermostats; 6) Award Winning Lighting Design; 7) Underfloor modular wiring system serving 700 workstations
Lawrence Journal World
This project involved the renovation of the Lawrence Journal World and World Company News Room facility, as well as a new addition to their offices in Lawrence, Kansas. The HVAC and electrical systems were replaced and designed to integrate with the existing historic structure and functionality of the office facility.- Kansas Children's Service League
