The project consists of a new building to house the Wing Commander and his staff as well as security personnel for the Kansas Air National Guard Facility at Forbes Field in Topeka, Kansas. The 36,000 square facility includes office space, a number of conference rooms in various sizes, three training classrooms and a 200 seat auditorium. In addition, a central security room is provided for the Forbes field, a weapons vault, a simulated rifle range and locker space for the Facility’s security police force. LSA provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, access control and security CCTV design for this project.
