Westar Energy - Lawrence Operations Center
This project takes an existing field service office and surrounds it on three sides with new structure and facility space. Offices, computer room, service vehicle bays, and warehouse spaces all share this space with training and conference rooms.
This is a LEED Silver Certified project incorporating ground-source heat pumps, air-to-air heat pumps, motion and daylight-controlled lighting, water-saving plumbing and carefully-monitored outside air ventilation to create an efficient, sustainable facility that pays dividends to the owner year after year.
