McPherson/MRV Office Building
A landmark in a newly developed area, this three story office is a presence that shows best at night. Strategically placed uplighting accents the strong vertical architecture and feature fixtures in the atrium lobby give the building a distinct glow that draws attention to the façade into the night.
A central station variable air volume air handling system with hot water terminal heat allows many zones of control for the occupants. There is a mixture of open office spaces and private offices with varying exposures and occupant load which require this individual care.
Direct/indirect fluorescent linear lighting fixtures are placed in areas where computer screen glare would be an issue if standard troffers were employed. Double switching and occupancy sensors provided individual control and flexibility.
A dedicated telecom room allowed a pre-planned and organized space for the voice, data, fax, and cable TV wiring and patch panels that make this office operation run smooth.
